LA CHERIE OPENS IN NOBLETON

La Cherie, a family operated women's clothing store which has been operating for 30 years, first in Markham and then in Woodbridge, has expanded into Nobleton. Mayor Margaret Black was on hand Saturday to cut the ribbon at the stores grand opening, accompanied by Barb Davis, director of the Nobleton Schomberg District Chamber of Commerce; Judy Craig, Chamber president; Karl Davis, Chamber vice-president; and Councillor Peter Grandilli. The business is owned by Masud Mirza, and he was accompanied by his daughter Naz, fashion consultant Claudia De Nicola and Danny Rajf, a representative of Joseph Ribkoff.
