Mixed results posted in under-8 boys soccer

While there have been some exceptions, the under- 8 boys' division in the King City Youth Soccer Club have been a pretty evenly matched group this season.

There have also been a lot of close games reported.

Last Wednesday saw Kasali Hair edge Primus Canada 3-2. Michael Bazzo handled all the scoring chores for the victors, including the third goal which came on a penalty kick. Anthony Kasali was player of the game for the winners. Christian Lakoseljac and Emanuele Olivieri notched the markers for Primus, and Nicholas Payne was player of the game for the side.

Meanwhile, Forklift For You posted a solid win, 6-1 at the expense of Den Bosch and Finchley. Alex Paglia led the attack with three goals, while JP Martin, Landis Antonic and Jamieson Cairns each collected singles. Ernesto DeLuca was player of the game for the winning side.

At the other end, Connor Tackaberry did the scoring while Jacob Jung was player of the game.

Aug. 24 saw the Kasali crew blank Forklift For You 2-0. Evan Phimister did all the scoring in this contest, with Thomas Beckley and Anthony Murdocca shared player of the game honours for the winners. Michael Von Schalburg was tops for the Forklift guys.

Things had been reversed Aug. 10 when those two teams faced each other. In that outing, it was the Forklift side that prevailed 5-0. Alessandro Paglia bagged four goals to lead the charge, and Noah Vitala got the single. Trevor Sioux was player of the game for the victors, while Riley MacKenzie was tops among the hair Studio players.

In Aug. 3 action Forklift For you battled Deville Electric to a 4-4 draw. Vitala was player of the game for Forklift with his three goals, and Rudy Colbertaldo scored the other one. Carter Smith was a three-goal man for the electric crew, while James Barber got the other one, as well as player of the game honours.

July 27 featured another close game, with the Forklift guys emerging on top of 2-1 final over Primus. Paglia and Martin connected for the winning side, and Nicola Lio was player of the game. Joseph Pagnani scored for Primus and Olivieri was top player.

June 29 saw Primus Canada blank Deville 5-0. Juliano Conetta was a twogoal man in the winning cause, while singles were contributed by Graham Furtney, Jeremy Wong and Olivieri. Christian Lakoseljac was player of the game on the winning side of the field.

July 6 was Deville's turn to win, as they posted a 4-1 tally over Forklift For You. Smith got all the goals for the victors in this outing, and was named player of the game too. Landis Antonic connected for the Forklift crew and Ernesto Deluca was player of the game.

Kasali Hair came out on top of a 4-1 final score July 13 at the expense of Primus. Bazzo was a three-goal man and player of the game for his side, while Christopher Plant added another marker

Wong scored for Primus and Joshua D'Urzo was top player.

July 20 was the Forklift guys' turn to win, and they bested Kasali 7-2. Antonic and Alex Paglia each had three-goal nights, and Noah Viitala added a single. Martin was player of the game for the winning side. Bazzo got both goals for the Hair squad, and Michael Burdi was player of the game.
