Tickets on sale for Kingfest Tickets are now on sale for Kingfest, the festival of music that will take place Sept. 22 and 23 at the Country Day School Performing Arts Centre. The Saturday program for the festival, being held in support of Habitat for Humanity, includes such noted performers as 11 Juno Award winner Murray McLauchlan, Kentucky bluegrass legend Raymond McLain, harmonica bluegrass wizard Mike Stevens, Canadian sensation Quartette and Blues musician Joel Krivy. Sunday night will feature R&B sensation Jacksoul, two-time Juno winner David Francey, special choir Voices of Joy and folksybluegrass female extraordinaire Kiximama. The shows will start at 8 p.m. both nights. Tickets are $38.50 for general admission and $72 for VIP admission, which includes priority seating and access to the pre-concert reception.
