FINAL RINGERS SCORED IN HORSESHOE SEASON

The King Quickshoe horseshoe pitching league has just completed a successful first season. The players gathered at the arena in King City for the championship tournament Thursday night. League coordinator Rick Hampton (second from left) played on the team that finished the season in first place, and then went on to win all the marbles. He is seen below with his teammates Scott Stewart, Jim Younker and Rich Moody. Hampton also presented a trophy to Dave Morgan. Morgan and Don Reeves tied for the most ringers over the season with 87.
