FAMILY RESTAURANT CLOSED, FOR NOW
Last Saturday featured a bit of a nostalgic feeling as the proprietors of Nobleton Family Restaurant, Mary, Tina, Nick and Gus Tzaras held a farewell barbecue as they closed their business after 35 years. They are retiring from the restaurant business, but Gus said he and his brother will be starting a new olive oil business. In the meantime, the building will be renovated, with a new restaurant starting up, probably in October. Mayor Margaret Black had been on hand earlier in the day to wish the proprietors well, and they in turn expressed their gratitude to the community for 35 years of support.
