The bands on the bill are Flapjack, Idle Time, The Aftermath, The Vestaloynes, Choice, Tron Funk n' Blow, Finding Seven, Fatchface and Ifract.

Dianna Fiorini, a member of the youth association, reported they have started selling tickets. They are available at King Learning Centre, and will be on sale at other locations to be announced. they will be going for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.

"We're trying to get the youth out," Fiorini said. "Give them something to do in the community."

"Everyone is welcome," she added.

The organizers are also looking for businesses to help out. Fiorini reported Music 21 in Bolton is providing the stage and sound equipment.

The bands will be competing for the first prize, with a panel from the community judging. The prize will be 10 hours of recording time in a studio, along with an invitation to play at Kingfest 2007.
