Region acts on hospital project

As a result of a pilot project that assessed the impact of assigning an Emergency Medical Services Operations Supervisor to a hospital emergency department to help minimize offload delay times, York Regional council recently approved the addition of one permanent staff EMS Operations Supervisor position.

The position is effective as of Aug. 1.
