Football done for another year at KCSS

Both the senior and junior football teams at King City Secondary School put in gallant efforts two weeks ago, but both endured defeats in the semi-final matches, bringing their respective seasons to abrupt ends. The juniors hosted St. Joan of Arc Nov. 16, and came out on the wrong end of a 14-13 final. The following day, the seniors travelled to Newmarket to face their Huron Heights foes, and fell 30-1. It was tough going in the fog for the junior game. Pat Doyle was able to pick up a few yards on this play before the defenders brought him down.
